The sign came first, made here, like most things. Photographs of the finished rooms will follow as the work completes.
Cháchara is the smallest apartment at Mozagamod: 25 m², good for two people for a few days, or one person and a week of walking and rest. Same garden, same care, fewer square metres.
Set into its walls are handmade ceramic reliefs from the Escuela de Arte Pancho Lasso, the island's art school: impressions of lace and cloth pressed into island clay, made in 1990, now built into the walls of the place where fabric was once cut. The terrace light was designed and made by Andrew.
The views here are mostly courtyards and gardens — not coastlines. The nearest coast is twelve minutes by car.
